ScenicView campus is made up of six buildings: ___________________________________________________________________________________

Community Building

A state of the art facility that hosts most of the daily classes, activities, meals, and meetings. This building is equipped with a large multi-purpose room offering a range of audio-visual capabilities, observation rooms where one way mirrors allow coaches or therapists to monitor behavior and offer feedback, a full kitchen that supplies three meals a day, as well as two computer labs, a complete exercise room, a music room, and an art room. Some staff offices are also located in this building.

Residential Building

The first structure on campus, the Residential Building serves as the hub of daily living. Upon arrival, students are assigned to one of the twenty-eight singly occupied rooms in this facility. Each room has a spacious living area and a single private bathroom. In this building there is also a large community room where students can hold meetings or social events, a conference room, more staff offices, a laundry facility, and a game area in the basement including pool, air hockey, foosball, and table tennis.

Two Eight-Plex Apartments

In an effort to encourage independent living, these apartments were built to give progressing students an opportunity to live more on their own. Each apartment has a living area and kitchen in addition to the bedroom and bathroom. Living in an apartment encourages students to cook on their own and maintain a larger living area.

Duplex

Two students live as roommates in one side of the building, while the other side has a small gathering area with a big screen TV, mail boxes, and a laundry room.

Greenhouse

This facility gives many students the opportunity to develop skills involved with raising and tending plants. Students involved with the greenhouse learn to follow a supervisors direction, and learn skills in planting, watering, feeding, pruning and selling flowers. Students are able to see the result of their work and feel a sense of accomplishment.

Testimonial

"It was a place that [he] could start to spread his wings and fly a little but still have someone there and some structure provided for him before he tried to make it all on his own." –Parent
