Craig Hiatt
Case Management Unit Manager
Craig graduated from the University of Utah with a master’s degree in Social Work and is a LCSW. He has worked in the mental health field with children and adults. He has spent a good portion of his career working in supervising Case Management. He enjoys working, camping, wood carving, bicycling and spoiling his grandchildren.
Donna Brocco
Accountant
Donna graduated from Brigham Young University with a Masters degree in Accounting and obtained her CPA license in the state of Utah. She volunteers as treasurer for Orem Youth Soccer and Northridge Elementary PTA. She enjoys bicycling, playing volleyball, reading, and watching her children play soccer.
Doug Gale
Executive Director
Doug graduated from the University of Utah with a masters degree in Social Work and is a LCSW. He has worked extensively helping adults with special needs succeed. He delights in developing unique problem solving approaches, program development and helping the “one”. He enjoys working, gardening, fishing, golfing and spending time with his four grandchildren.
Jack White
Employment Unit Manager
Jack graduated from the University of Utah and completed his master degree at California State University Northridge. He has a CSW and has innovative ideas in ways to help individuals with disabilities turn their dream of some day working into a reality of a career path. Jack enjoys golfing competitively and coaching basketball. He also likes to brag about his garden and most of all his children and grandchildren.
Jared Davis
Human Resources Manager
Jared graduated from Utah State University (go Aggies!) with a masters degree in Human Resources Management. He is currently working his dream job in that he is able to manage Human Resources and interact directly with the students. He enjoys watching and participating in most sports and loves spending time with his wife, dog and his one-eyed cat. Jared believes that you can have fun no matter what you are doing.
Jared Stewart
Education Unit Manager
After graduating from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science Education and a minor in Japanese Teaching, Jared went on to teach before earning a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Colorado’s Jones International University. Jared enjoys hiking, reading, and playing with his three children—and adheres to the belief that there is untapped greatness in everyone, regardless of their so-called “disabilities”.
Marty Matheson
Clinical Unit Manager
Marty is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a part-time faculty for Brigham Young University, and was a therapist and administrator in community mental health. Marty has traveled the world with several performing groups and loves acting in plays, films, commercials, and television productions, and is a yoga demonstrator for an internationally televised yoga program. Marty loves seeing individuals embrace wellness and enhance their quality of life.
Robert Ludwig
Business/Facilities Unit Manager
Robert started his career in construction, and then spent several years in management. He has been with ScenicView from the beginning and enjoys the challenges that come with his responsibilities. His personal interests include photography, road trips, going to the cabin, and spending time with his family; especially the grandchildren.
Cambric Mathews

Cambric graduated from Southern Utah University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and a minor in Psychology. She enjoys relaxing with her husband and two puppies, watching movies, rock climbing and Dr. Pepper. One of her favorite aspects of her job is taking pictures of SVA activities.

Case Manager
Aaron graduated from Brigham Young University in Marriage, Family, and Human Development and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Counseling. He enjoys spending time with his wife and son and is eagerly awaiting the birth of his daughter in September. He enjoys building interpersonal relationships and hanging out with the residents at ScenicView.
Bryan Kessinger
Human Service Worker
Bryan graduated from Brigham Young University in Family Science with a focus in Family and Marriage Therapy. He also has an MBA from University of Phoenix. Bryan works full-time with the Dept. of Workforce Services and enjoys helping the residents with job-searching activities and supportive services. He likes camping, biking, skiing, movies, and spending time with his family.
Desireé McQueen
Health & Fitness Coordinator
Desireè graduated from Brigham Young University in Communications, and received a Masters degree in Psychology from Utah State University. She is an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer, SSW, Certified ADHD & Life Coach, Licensed School Counselor, Professional Counseling Extern, and recently received certification as an ACSM Health Fitness Specialist. Some of her interests are dancing, music, fitness, nutrition, traveling, learning, and hearing stories because everybody has one. She believes that “life’s a dance…”
Diana Blain
Case Manager
Diana graduated from Brigham Young University in Marriage, Family, and Human Development with a minor in Psychology. She is a licensed Social Service Worker and has received life coach training. She enjoys traveling, visiting with family and friends, and keeping a personal history through photography. Diana believes every day changes determine life’s outcome, and she enjoys helping ScenicView students make changes that lead to life improvement.
Heidi Ross
Case Manager
Heidi graduated from Southern Utah University with a bachelors degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. She enjoys hiking, dancing, and laughing. Heidi believes that you can accomplish anything if you’re willing to work hard for it.
Lauren Thomas
Case Manager
Lauren graduated from the University of Utah in Social Work, and is a licensed Social Services Worker (SSW). She enjoys photography, skiing, reading, and researching. A quote from one of Lauren’s favorite books states, “If somebody at least listens, it’s not so bad,” (Catcher in the Rye). Lauren believes these words explain the simplicity of helping others.

Lisa received her Bachelors in Social Work from Brigham Young University Hawaii and her Masters in Education Psychology from Utah State University and is a SSW. She loves playing games, doing outdoor activities, and believes that “life is all about the dash”.

Dave is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and received his masters degree from Brigham Young University. Dave has enjoyed working in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings. He also provides therapy for LDS Family Services. Dave enjoys a varied taste in music and prefers to spend any spare time with family and friends. He has seen how even the most difficult experiences in life can be used for personal growth and development.

Marie graduated from Brigham Young University with a Masters in Education and a Specialist Degree in School Psychology. She enjoys listening to all types of music, traveling, reading and spending time with her family. Her sixteen years as a school psychologist have taught her a respect and appreciation for diversity. She enjoys being an advocate for students with learning “differences” and believes that every one has the potential for greatness.

Ryan graduated from BYU in Therapeutic Recreation and is a licensed CTRS. He loves spending time with his beautiful wife, enjoys canyoneering, watching and playing sports, reading a good book, playing the guitar, toying with Photoshop, and bonding with his family through Wallyball. He is grateful for the opportunity to help SVA students improve their lives through experiential learning and meaningful recreation.

Suzanne Grimshaw

Suzanne is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.A. in Political Science and a Master’s degree in Social Work. She is actively involved in her community and currently serves as the Chair of Hobble Creek Elementary School’s Community Council. She loves spending time with family, friends, and a good book. Suzanne believes that creativity and thinking “outside the box” can provide opportunities for change and growth.

Suzette is a Certified Social Worker. She received a bachelors and masters in social work from Brigham Young University. Jane Coleman
Teacher
Jane earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Humanities and her Severe Special Education Endorsement from Brigham Young University. She's certified as a Level 2 Professional Teacher. She has extensive experience teaching all ages, both in classroom and tutoring settings, with an emphasis in math, reading, writing and behavioral skills. Her interests include reading, art, music, nature and family. Jane believes with a multisensory, eclectic approach to learning, all can continually increase their capabilities.
Joanna Posey

Joanna D. Posey holds a Level 2 Professional Teacher’s Certification through the State of Utah. She has elementary and secondary teaching experience (both general and special education) in teaching reading, writing, social studies, English as a second language, and library-media. She earned her B.S. and M.A. degrees from Brigham Young University. She completed several years of doctoral studies at the University of Utah. She continues to implement current research in her classroom and writes about issues facing special needs students.

Kelli graduated from Southern Utah University with a BS in Elementary Education and has a Level 2 Professional Educator License. She has three years of experience teaching upper elementary in the public school system. She currently teaches basic math and reading classes as well as offers one-on-one instruction. Kelli believes in her students and tries to give them the guidance and support they need in order to believe in themselves and find success.
Melanie Evans

Melanie graduated from Brigham Young University with a master’s of fine arts degree emphasizing in ceramics. She enjoys the challenge of teaching while making her own work and sometimes reads up on art history for fun. Melanie also enjoys photography, drawing, painting and anything art related. She is trying to teach herself how to cook and loves being with her husband and baby.
Sue Chamberlain
Teacher's Aide
Sue has worked at ScenicView for seven years. Most of her time is spent tutoring and one on ones with the students. She just received her Minister’s license with Acts Ministries and hopes to receive her ordination in September. She is currently working on becoming a Board Certified Biblical Counselor through the AACC. She volunteers in the evening doing support groups for abused women. The students give her far more than she could ever give them; they are wonderful to work with.

Lynnette graduated from Brigham Young University in Social Work and is a SSW. She enjoys working with people outdoors, in the greenhouse, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She believes that people have different employment skills and enjoys promoting that skill in the people she works with.

Along with keeping our building a comfortable environment in which to work, he also enjoys wood working and teaches several classes. Jay Dee loves to SCUBA dive in Mexico and enjoys spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.

Jim graduated from The University of Phoenix with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology. He has more than 15 years in systems administration and is very versatile in knowledge within the IT industry. Jim sees great value in the family unit and enjoys spending time as well as doing things with his family. Some of his enjoyable activities include viewing and participating in any sport imaginable and spending time in the beautiful outdoors. One of Jim's hidden talents is the ability to play the piano.
